Dental Implants

One of the new services that Dr. Adam is offering to our patients is the dental implant. Most of the time, our patients will be able to have the entire procedure done here at the office, from the moment they have the tooth taken out until the time it is restored with a beautiful implant crown.

Dental implants can be life-changing. Implants provide a foundation for replacement teeth. These look, feel, and function like natural teeth. This gives a patient who has lost teeth the ability to eat virtually anything. It also gives you the confidence that comes from knowing your teeth look natural.

According to research, we are seeing the success rate as high as 98 to 100 percent over 25 years. We are excited to offer this form of treatment to our patients!

Now, we recognize the implants have a higher upfront cost than other replacement options, but these will save you money in the long run because they require no special cleaners, no replacement of the same procedure and are able to last a lifetime.

If you are considering implants, your mouth must be examined thoroughly and your medical and dental history reviewed. If your mouth is not ideal for implants, there are other options, such as bone grafting.

Bone Graft

Bone grafting, is sometimes a necessary minor surgical procedure done here at All In The Family, is used to build up new bone in the area of your jaw where you have lost a tooth or need bone to hold an implant.

Typically, here at All In The Family, a patient that has a problem that leads to the loss of the tooth has the option of doing nothing, a bridge, a partial, or an implant. Typically, to save the bone when the tooth is taken out we will use the bone graft in the area to ensure good healthy bone in both width and height, in case an implant or bridge is done. We like to allow the area to heal for 3-4 months, or in some cases more, before an implant is placed.
